Frequently Asked Questions
What is Luxury Mobility Concierge?
Luxury Mobility Concierge provides thoughtful, non-medical mobility assistance and hospitality services designed to help guests enjoy destinations with greater comfort, confidence, and independence.
Our services are especially suited for guests who are independently mobile but may benefit from additional support when navigating distance, uneven terrain, sand, heat, crowds, prolonged standing, or fatigue.
Who is Luxury Mobility Concierge designed for?
Our experiences are designed primarily for mature adults and other independently mobile guests who want to continue enjoying travel, beaches, resorts, attractions, dining, and outings but appreciate a little extra assistance along the way.
Our philosophy is simple: You can still go. We simply make it easier.
Is Luxury Mobility Concierge a medical or home-care service?
No. Luxury Mobility Concierge is a hospitality and non-medical mobility-assistance company.
We do not provide nursing care, medical treatment, therapy, personal-care services, medical monitoring, or emergency medical services.
What can a Luxury Mobility Specialist assist with?
Depending on the experience and the guest's individual needs, a Luxury Mobility Specialist may assist with:
Navigating longer distances
Uneven or challenging terrain
Beach and shoreline access
Mobility equipment
Rest and pacing
Shade and comfort arrangements
Carrying appropriate personal items
Navigating resorts or attractions
Coordination with hospitality partners
General non-medical mobility support
Every experience is designed to encourage the guest's independence while providing thoughtful assistance when needed.
Does a guest need to use a wheelchair or scooter?
No.
Many LMC guests walk independently and may only need support for certain portions of an outing. Mobility equipment may be incorporated when appropriate, but equipment use is not required to enjoy an LMC experience.
What types of experiences does LMC offer?
Signature shoreline offerings include:
The Sunrise Experience
A peaceful early-day coastal experience designed around cooler temperatures, lighter crowds, and a relaxed pace.
The Signature Experience
Our premier daytime shoreline experience, thoughtfully coordinated around the guest's comfort, mobility needs, and preferred pace.
The Sunset Experience
A relaxed coastal experience designed around the beauty and atmosphere of the evening shoreline.
Additional resort, indoor, and destination experiences may be available seasonally or through participating hospitality partners.
What happens if it rains?
Weather does not always mean the experience has to end.
When appropriate and available, LMC may coordinate an alternative experience such as The Resort Retreat or The Coastal Reset.
Availability depends on the participating property, indoor or covered space, staffing, operating conditions, and the guest's needs.
Please see our Weather & Cancellation Policy for complete details.
Does LMC provide food and beverages?
Luxury Mobility Concierge does not prepare, store, or cater food.
When refreshments are included in an experience, they are provided by the partner resort or an approved licensed food-service provider.
Can a spouse, family member, or companion participate?
Absolutely.
LMC recognizes that meaningful travel experiences are often shared. Companions may participate when appropriate for the selected experience, property, and reservation.
How far in advance should I request an experience?
We recommend submitting requests approximately 48–72 hours in advance whenever possible.
Additional notice may be helpful for specialty equipment, partner-property coordination, larger parties, or customized arrangements.
Availability is not guaranteed until the experience is confirmed.
Does LMC accept walk-up guests?
LMC is primarily a reservation-based service.
Advance reservations allow us to coordinate staffing, equipment, guest preferences, weather considerations, and hospitality-partner arrangements properly.
What happens after I request an experience?
Our team reviews your request and may contact you for additional information.
Before a confirmed experience, LMC may complete a brief mobility and preference intake so our team understands factors such as walking tolerance, terrain concerns, fatigue, equipment preferences, and other relevant non-medical considerations.
Does LMC provide transportation?
Transportation is not automatically included in standard LMC experiences.
Guests should review the specific experience description or reservation details for transportation information.
Can an LMC specialist accompany me to restaurants, attractions, shops, or other outings?
Certain LMC experiences may include non-medical mobility assistance for resort activities, attractions, dining, shopping, or other destination experiences.
Availability varies by destination, season, staffing, and hospitality partnership.
What if I become tired during an experience?
Rest and pacing are part of thoughtful mobility support.
Your specialist can assist with planned or spontaneous rest periods, shade, seating, mobility equipment when available, and adjustments to the pace of the experience.
What if my needs are greater than LMC can safely accommodate?
Guest safety and dignity come first.
If we determine that a guest requires medical care, complex transfers, significant lifting, personal care, continuous physical support, or assistance beyond LMC's service scope, we may determine that the requested experience is not appropriate.
When possible, we will communicate this before the reservation is finalized.
Are Luxury Mobility Specialists trained?
LMC specialists receive training in our hospitality, safety, guest-dignity, mobility-assistance, equipment, communication, and emergency-response standards.
Our specialists are expected to provide calm, respectful, attentive service and to communicate directly with the guest.
Is mobility equipment available?
Depending on the experience, destination, and availability, LMC may coordinate equipment such as beach wheelchairs, rollators, or mobility scooters.
Equipment availability should always be confirmed as part of the reservation.
What should I bring?
Guests should consider bringing:
Appropriate clothing and footwear
Sunscreen
Hat or sun protection
Prescription medications normally carried
Personal mobility devices, when applicable
Any personal items needed for comfort
Your confirmation may contain additional recommendations based on the experience.
What is LMC's cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms depend on when the reservation is canceled and whether LMC has already committed staffing, equipment, partner resources, or other costs.
Please review the full Weather & Cancellation Policy before booking.
Does LMC partner with hotels and resorts?
Yes.
Hospitality partnerships are a core part of the LMC model. We work with hotels, resorts, property groups, and other hospitality organizations to help enhance mobility support and guest experiences.
How can my property partner with LMC?
